Some of Calvin's performances include local television events on Good Day Tulsa, Rogers State University's Studio 66, and gigs across the South and Midwest regions. He and his band perform a variety of classic and modern hits spanning from Motown, Soul, R&B, and Pop. I have seen hundreds of shows at The Blue Door over the past quarter century and I have to say last night’s performance by Mike Viola has to rank in the top 5.
Known mostly as a producer for Mandy Moore, Andrew Bird & Semisonic and now as a singer, writer and producer with Panic at the Disco, his songs are intensely personal, relatable and charming.
And he is the most genuine and personable performer I have ever met
