Keyside Biography
KEYSIDE are riding the crest of a wave that is Liverpool's resurgent soundscape. Right in the eye of that musical storm, their songs are an alchemy of striking lyrics and honeyed guitars.
Under the wing of Modern Sky, a label synonymous with the northwest’s musical renaissance, KEYSIDE stand at the future-facing vanguard, all the while paying homage to the giants whose echoes linger in the official City of Music's air.
It’s a respectful nod to the past, confidently infused with a contemporary edge, a seamless fusion where the rich legacy of 'The Queen is Dead'-era jangle meets the compelling energy of modern-day trailblazers, shaping a sound that's right for right now.
Their most recent material is produced by Chris Taylor, hit-making co-owner of Kempston Street Studios (formerly Parr Street) who has crafted musical signatures for The Coral and Blossoms.
As an emerging live act to watch, KEYSIDE have rocked the crowd alongside Jamie Webster and Shed Seven. Their tunes have set venues alight, enchanted festival fields full of dreamers and rebels, and caught the industry's sharpest ears.
KEYSIDE are: Dan Parker (vocals, acoustic guitar), Ben Cassidy (lead guitar), Oisin McAvoy (drums) and Max Gibson (bass, backing vocals).
