Frank Martin Busch was the youngest of seven kids in a musical family, playing saxophone and drums in grade school, but it wasn't until he picked up his college roommate's Stratocaster that he truly fell in love with music. His first two bands, The Mighty Short Bus, and WheelHouse, released 8 records. Opting to go solo with his own band, the Names, this award-winning songwriter marries the storytelling of a Country songwriter with the musicality of a Bluesman and an offbeat sense of humor. Call it Americana, or just Country music without bedazzled jeans, Frank's music draws its roots from Red Dirt Country rather than Nashville.
