Yo-Yo Ma

Love Yo-Yo Ma, it is a gift to hear him play. Seats in the balcony though, are very uncomfortable, no leg room and I’m only 5’6”. Due to this, we had to leave early. It was very unfortunate and disappointing.

Absolutely beautiful!! The best of the best!

Yo Yo Ma is beyond great. The Outdoor night concert without an orchestra was spectacular. Bach's music that Yo Yo Ma selected was both theoretically and sensually beautiful. His superb, yet highly advanced and natural technique kept the audience captivated throughout the two-hour performance. We got the lawn seat ticket this time and feel very fortunate for the experience. It was an unforgettable and wonderful night. I hope he will come back soon. Thank you very much!!

It was a wonderful show; loved how they combined classical Bach with Hawaiian chant, mele and hula, so awesome!

Wonderful concert! Real master of cello! Special experience of listening classical music in open air- Greek Theatre in Berkeley

The performance was indescribable. seeing that level of musicianship can't be forgotten.

Such an amazing performance. Ma is a true cello virtuoso, his energy and passion reverberate throughout the symphony hall. The 2 hour performance flew by in an instant. If you have not seen him live, you must see him posthaste!
