About this concert
Husky is back with a new record and an east coast tour to celebrate. The first Australian band to be signed to iconic US label Sub Pop Records (Nirvana, Fleet Foxes, Father John Misty), Husky went on to release four albums to international acclaim and toured the world many times over.‘Deep Sleeper’ will draw you in quickly and make you want to stay a long time. Husky Gawenda and keys player/collaborator/cousin/kindred spirit Gideon Preiss took on all the recording duties this time around - Gawenda wrote the songs, they produced together, Preiss engineered and mixed. The result is something more raw and intimate, more stripped back and immediate, more in the footsteps of folk heroes like Neil Young, and contemporary legends like Andy Shauf, both of whom Husky has shared stages with.Husky and Gideon will be joined by their stellar band Holly Thomas (drums, vocals), Hollie Joyce (Bass, vocals) and Jules Pascoe (guitar). They will bring the new album to life and play a selection of favourites from each of their previous albums.Their last tour sold out, so don’t miss this one!

Tessa Fleur Biography

Tessa Fleur’s debut EP ‘Trial’, released in November 2023, offers both a sonic and visual journey, comprising five songs that collectively embody her transcendent and wistful perspective. This EP was carefully crafted through collaboration with music producer Alister Richardson ( Clea, Full Flower Moon Ban, and Nice Biscuit) and film director Levi Cranston (San Cisco and Telonova). The five-track EP includes popular singles such as ‘Death by Black Hole’, ‘Trial’ and ‘Avalon’, earning recognition from Triple J Unearthed, Queensland Music Awards (nominated for best music video), and RAGE (feature video and ranking #17 in the RAGE Top 50 for 2023).

This year, Tessa’s live performances have entranced audiences across the east coast of Australia. She has recently performed at the Brunswick Music Festival in Melbourne and shared the stage with some of Australia's hottest acts such as Baby Cool, Cool Sounds, Husky, Maple Glider, and Rowena Wise. Whether she is fronting her four-piece band or in more intimate settings performing as a duo or solo, emotionality and velvety melodies are at the center of her performance.
