Margaret Berger Biography
Margaret Berger (born 11 October, 1985) grew up in Hitra, Norway, before she moved to Trondheim. She studied music at Heimdal Videregående (High School).
She entered Norwegian Idol in 2004, and became the underdog who barely survived week after week. At the end she ended up second. A little later, she got a record deal, and released her first album, "Chameleon", late 2004. She had one big hit from this record ("Lifetime Guarantee") and two minor radio hits ("Mind Game" and "This is Perfect"). She spent 2005 touring festivals and schools as a part in a huge cultural project for students and kids in Trondheim and writing songs for her new album.
In the summer of 2006 she returned with the song "Samantha", which bacame a huge hit in Norway. The following single was "Will You Remember me Tomorrow". Her second album "Pretty Scary Silver Fairy" was released October 2nd 2006 to great critical acclaim.
A third album is set to be released this year.
