About this concert
Emerging alternative act Minor Delusion are bringing their chaotic blend of trip hop, industrial, and experimental sounds to The Workers Club for the first time.Building their stage presence since early 2024, Minor Delusion is sure to bring an evening of atmospheric grit, film score-style ambience, and soulful rhythms. With an onslaught of warbling synthesisers and droning electronics, the band’s upcoming gig will mark the introduction of new member Perrin Daly who joins on trumpet and effects.Minor Delusion will be amplified on stage with the smoky sounds of Low Monroe & The Fugitives and the vibrant electronic signals of USER.Fresh off the release of their new single Dead Star Revolver, Low Monroe & The Fugitives bring a kinetic energy reminiscent of Bauhaus and Sisters of Mercy. A dark, atmospheric, yet danceable four-piece, and blending genres such as doom jazz partnered with post punk elements, the group is birthing the genre title: Noir Post-Punk.Described as “a Lynchian interpretation of The Church,” USER are known for their dramatic live performances, interwoven with mind bending projected visuals which transports audiences to dark, otherworldly places. They are currently writing and recording their third album as a follow up to 2020’s REHASHREMAKEREMODEL.

The Fugitives Biography
Formed in Vancouver, Canada in 2007, The Fugitives are a folk collective headed by songwriters Brendan McLeod and Adrian Glynn. The band has toured extensively in Europe & Canada, won multiple folk music awards and released 5 critically-acclaimed albums. On "No Help Coming" they took the learnings from months of research from their JUNO nominated previous release, "Trench Songs", to playfully take on deadly serious topics. "No Help Coming" is concerned with the climate emergency, and how humanity's only choice is to work together.
