Led by critically acclaimed drummer Brad Elvis (Elvis Brothers, The Romantics, Screams, Big Hello) and vocalist/guitarist/saxophonist Chloe F. Orwell (Big Hello), Chicagos The Handcuffs explore broad sonic territory, weaving together elements of glam, indie, art and blues rock. Inhabiting some of the same rock Burn The Rails will be released on vinyl LP on Pravda Records in 2024, and they are currently working on album number five. Completing The Handcuffs lineup are bassist Emily Togni, lead guitarist Charlie Short, and keyboardist Carolyn Engelmann, all celebrated musicians who have made their marks in a variety of genres and musical groups. Guest keyboardist Morgan Fisher (Mott The Hoople) demonstrates his synthesizer and piano prowess on a couple of tracks on the new LP.The band kills it and summons all the right ghosts from the decade of denim and debauchery.
