Multi-Grammy Award®-winning R&B and soul singer, songwriter, performer, and producer PJ Morton comes to the Parker this summer! Since the breakthrough of his 2017 LP Gumbo through his latest project, Gospel According to PJ, which earned the 2021 Grammy Award® for Best Gospel album, Morton has had a creative and critically-acclaimed streak of six self-released and self-produced albums garnering 16 Grammy® nominations with three consecutive wins, his first-ever NAACP Image Award and Soul Train nominations, BET Award nominations, and countless television appearances. With special guest The Cavemen. This show is part of the TD Bank Jazz Series.

The Cavemen. Biography
The Cavemen is a Lagos based ‘Afrocentric influenced’ band comprising of Kingsley and his brother, Benjamin James. The band champion a genre called ‘Highlife Fusion’ which is a combination of Highlife, Afrobeat, Jazz and Soul music. The Cavemen are the modern torch-bearers for Highlife music, a sound with deep roots in the history of African music.
