Kryštof Biography
A Czech band formed in Havířov in 1995 aka 'The Kryštof' by Richard Krajčo and Nikolaj Architev.
Band members: Richard Krajčo (vocals, guitar), Nikolaj Arichtev, Evžen Hofmann, Nikos Kuluris, Jakub Dominik, Nikos Grigoriadis and Ondra Kyjonka.
The breakthrough came in 2000 when 'Kryštof' signed a contract for three albums with EMI.
First album "Magnetické Pole" was a great succes with singles like 'Lolita', 'Ženy' and 'Cosmos shop'.
The second album came a year later and it was called "V siločarách" with a single 'Obchodník s deštěm' that became an instant hit.
In 2003 the album "Krystof 03" came to shops, an album full of interesting remixes.
In 2004 they made their fourth album named "Mikrokosmos", for which they were given a prestigious price 'Anděl' for the album of the year.
The year 2005 was a year of the fisrt big concert tour named 'Mikrokosmos', in 2005 a DVD and a CD from this tour was released too.
In 2006 they came with their (for now) last album called "Rubikon" and with a giant tour to support this album. They visited 11 cities and were seen by 35.000 people.
