Both times were great. My son and I go to metal shows every month and Metro has grown to be one of our favorite spots. It's the smallest place we've been to but that's how we like … More Metro Gallery (Owner) 5 hours ago Nothing warms my heart more than a father/son death metal duo! Hope to see yall in the pit more and more! PS We’re getting new AC in two weeks!! Jesse P Local Guide·186 reviews·213 photos a month ago I saw a hardcore metal show here. I was a little apprehensive of the location but the surrounding area is actually not that bad, at least during the day. The outside of the building looks run down and it’s blacked out all around. We parked … More Metro Gallery (Owner) a month ago Got me a little misty over here. Thanks for the great review and hope to see you again! Jennifer Cullen Local Guide·38 reviews·42 photos 2 months ago Very cool music venue and bar. Garage also conveniently located a few steps away William Deaton 39 reviews·86 photos a year ago Great small venue, they get a great selection of bands coming through, and the staff is friendly, the drinks are tasty. It also exhibits some cool art if that's your thing. Buying a painting was also very easy, and the staff was extremely polite. Very cool part of town on Charles Street. +9 6 Steven Lehnhoff 1 review Just went to our second show there in 2 months last night. Both times were great. My son and I go to metal shows every month and Metro has grown to be one of our favorite spots. It's the smallest place we've been to but that's how we like it. We post up by the window right next to the stage. Puts us within feet of the pit so we can jump right in when one breaks out. The small size makes it personal and we love that. The staff is super chill and the crowd is always really cool. Sound quality is great. The bar is canned beers and mixed drinks (I don't personally partake since I'm driving with my son) but it seems to satisfy those who do. They also post up water coolers which is great because this place gets HOT once the pits start up. A ceiling fan or two wouldn't hurt but honestly the sweat adds to the charm, my son and I always leave soaked! 2 bathrooms in the back and half of the space is dedicated to merch tables and more standing room. Metro seems to host a wide variety of artists but if you are into underground death metal and enjoy small, personal venues with cool staff and a rad crowd this is the place for you! We already have tickets to return next month! 🤘 Tomb Mold and Horrendous were fantastic. High energy and sone gnarly push pits. Unfortunately Brain Tourniquet were missing their bassist so had to cut their set early.
