Astral Bakers, c’est l’histoire d’une évidence. Quatre musicien.ne.s confirmé.e.s (Sage, fondateur de Revolver et producteur, Theodora, Nico Lockhart et Zoé Hochberg) se retrouvent dans une même pièce, et font de la musique comme pour la première fois. Un genre de rock acoustique, diront les uns, du soft grunge, préciseront les autres. Des morceaux en anglais, s’accordera-t ’on. A mi-chemin entre Big Thief, Supertramp et un concert unplugged de Nirvana. Mais peu importe les noms, ici la matière prime. Et elle est élémentaire.

It's a tale of the obvious. Four established musicians meet in the same room and make music as if for the first time.
A kind of acoustic rock, some would say, soft grunge, others would say. In warm, wooded rooms, they composed their first tracks, repeating them over and over again. Playing together, therefore, to restore life as it passes, fallible and true. And in so doing, to remind us of the obvious, which we forget: music is an art of presence.
