The Southsiders

The Southsiders, a four piece band of established London Blues and session musicians, was formed over a mutual love of Blues and Roots Music. It is this music that the Southsiders brings to life in an eclectic review encompassing the electrifying Chicago sounds of Howlin' Wolf and Magic Sam to the iconic sounds of Albert Collins, Albert King, and BB King.

The Southsiders Duo, comprised of the guitarists of the Southsiders band; Matthew Wallhead and Henry Kimber, pair the energised blues sound of the Southsiders with the sophisticated music of early Jazz and the Great American Songbook. Listening to the Southsiders Duo one can expect a mix of the delta and uptown, with music as wide ranging as Dinah Washington and Louis Armstrong alongside Robert Johnson and Bessie Smith.
