Marjorine

Marjorine is a four piece psychedelic rock band from Brooklyn, NY. Formed by Nicholas Comaratta in 2021, the band is quickly rising within the NYC psych and post-punk scene.

Initially working alone in California, Comaratta released the project’s hypnotic debut single “Salton Sea” in 2021. This was followed by the texture focused Mattress 4 U EP in 2022, featuring the psychedelic dream-pop crossover single “Converge.”

Upon returning to Brooklyn, Comaratta recruited David Arthur on bass, Matt Carroll on drums, and JD Slater IV on guitar and synths to steer the project towards an explosive live sound. The result was a series of adventurous shows across Brooklyn and Upstate New York in the summer and fall of 2022. During this time the four piece explored fresh sonic arrangements on older songs while simultaneously creating newer garage and post-punk material for upcoming releases.
