FL Dusa Biography

Baton Rouge rapper, FL Dusa’s music offers vivid insight to the struggles, pain and violence he endured as a young man in the streets of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As the beat and instrumentals build, you can hear the pain in his voice as he provides his audience first hand experiences of his trials and tribulations. FL Dusa’s style of music stretches across multiple lanes from harder urban vibes on heavy bass and drums all the way to rhythmic melodies over strings and pianos. One thing that remains, the music is straight from the heart, no pen or paper.

In 2021, after being released from prison, facing multiple life sentences, FL Dusa life changed as he was signed to Kevin Gates’ Bread Winners Association. On November 12, 2021, FL Dusa released his hit single, “Dear God,” featuring his childhood friend, Kevin Gates. This project would ultimately earn RIAA Gold Certification. FL Dusa continued to wow his fans with singles like “Dusa,” “Bad Man,” and “Trap Boy.”

In 2024, a new journey is underway for FL Dusa, tune in and enjoy what is coming next.
