Stalwarts of the indie underground, worldwide. The high school friends-turned-band-mates Stefan Blair and Liam Parsons now live in Los Angeles and London, respectively. But they’re playing a rare hometown show at the Melbourne Recital Centre for RISING.
It’s an acoustically deluxe venue befitting the orchestral sounds and crackles on Seven, their most expansive, ambitious album yet. Think Dick Diver, Liz Phair and Brian Wilson soundtracking a black-and-white musical about drifting into your thirties.

Good Morning is a band/duo/recording-thing from Melbourne, Australia.
Stefan Blair (29, brown hair, 6 foot something, Gemini) plays most of the instruments and sings half the songs. Liam Parsons (30, brown hair, 6 foot on the dot, Aries) plays the rest of the instruments and sings the other half of the songs.
Their seventh record 'Good Morning Seven' is a double album filled with strings, synths, samples, and singing.
This is their 10th year anniversary of being a band. It's all downhill from here.
