About this concert
Never say never, the renowned BLEEDING THROUGH is back to give you a dose of Metalcore razing like never before, Spring 2024.The band will belligerently bring their decades of core brutality to the cities of Ballarat, Brisbane, Canberra, Frankston, Melbourne, Newcastle, & Sydney in September. The band will perform new and old material from their 20 years plus of unrelenting ferocity in music.Railing against its origins in sunny, Orange County, California, Bleeding Through specializes in unapologetically dark and fierce metalcore, with elements of melodic death and black metal tossed in for good measure.Bleeding Through formed in 1999 and released their first album, Dust To Ashes in 2000. The record helped pioneer the genre known as “Metalcore”.  Unlike other Orange County bands, Bleeding Through didn't play pop, ska, hardcore, or even punk, but rather crushing aggro-deathcore that is popular among many post-millennial American post-screamo bands. After debuting their 2002 album, Portrait of the Goddess, the band signed with New Jersey-based Trustkill Records and expanded their traditional hardcore sound into something more versatile, malevolent, and death metal; Unleashing two well-regarded albums in 2004 with This Is Love, This Is Murderous and in 2006 The Truth. Selling nearly half a Million records worldwide.  In 2008, Bleeding Through released their next album, Declaration which spoke about the trials and tribulations of life on the road and ignited a public feud with Trustkill over unpaid royalties, lack of funding, and release schedules, resulting in a move in 2010 to Oregon-based Rise Records for the band's eponymous sixth album and 2012 follow-up, The Great Fire. In 2013 Bleeding Through announced that their upcoming tour would be their last before their hiatus with the group's final show occurring at Chain Reaction in Anaheim on August 3, 2014. Much to their fans' surprise, Bleeding Through reported in March 2018 that they had inked a deal with SharpTone Records and released a new album, Love Will Kill All. Unfortunately, after their return the pandemic halted the band in 2020.  Again, out of the ashes, Bleeding Through returned in 2022 with their SharpTone Records EP titled Rage. Following the Rage EP, Bleeding Through is charging back better than ever, playing shows worldwide and reminding people what BT is all about - Pure chaos and emotion. In 2023 Bleeding Through released a new single, War Time as well as the re-recordings of their classic metalcore anthems, Love Lost In A Hail Of Gunfire and On Wings Of Lead. Two and a half decades strong Bleeding Through has plenty yet to come.  BT Til’ Death.

Bleeding Through Biography

When a band collectively turns ten years old, there’s a shift that occurs—one that establishes the band’s contributions to whichever genre they play in as a permanent one, resonating for generations to follow. While many bands manage to break into double digits, few manage to make it to twenty—which means, just months away from kissing their teens goodbye, Bleeding Through are truly an act integral to contemporary heavy music. When Spin magazine called Bleeding Through a “band to watch,” and Revolver heralded the group as one that was shaping the “future of metal”—both 2004—it would seem unlikely that either publication was hinting at what the group have become now. Working incessantly since early 1999, this crushing Californian metal act combine hardcore, symphonic and death metal in a maelstrom of magnificent aggression, weaving melody and mayhem together into a chaotic quilt. Dedicated to writing, recording and touring in a way that would cast countless acts to shame, Bleeding Through are a band that many fans of extreme music may cite as one of their first truly “heavy” bands—and years later, they hold up just as strong, if not more so.
