New Hampshire's Donaher wears their 90's and early 00's influences on their sleeve. The band has been compared to the likes of household power pop, Weezer and Fountains of Wayne, and indie punk mainstays, the Get Up Kids and Lemonheads. Filled with infectious hooks and guitar solos, Donaher was nominated for New England Music Awards in 2018 for "Best Pop Act" followed by "Rising Stars (New Hampshire)" and "Album of the Year" in 2022. The band has toured the northeast and part of the midwest, providing local support for Collective Soul, the Ataris, the Smoking Popes, and Piebald. Donaher released a 4 song EP "Angus Soundtrack 2" in 2021, the follow up to their 2017 debut "I Swear My Love Is True". Donaher's second full length album, the moodier "Gravity and the Stars Above", was released on February 4, 2022 receiving excellent reviews. The Punk Site gave the album 4 stars calling Donaher and the effort "a very brave band and album". In 2023 Donaher was one of 24 bands picked to participate in the Boston Emissions "Rock and Roll Rumble", a famed New England institution and longest running event of it's kind. Donaher's newest single "Stay Up" has been called a "great song" by Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional.
