About this concert
The power trio MOVING PICTURES is a Rush tribute at the top of their game. They played more than 50 gigs in 2023, including Lakeside Park in Canada for Neil Peart's family. In 2024 they're touring British and Irish Academy Venues, Rush fan conventions in Brazil, Scotland and the Netherlands plus a European tour. These guys and lady - female drummer Jamie Dunleavey is a favorite of Neil Peart's sisters - are in top form right now. You should grab the chance to see this! “They had only been on stage for a few minutes and my face was already hurting from a constant grin.” "These strangers who weren't really Rush made me feel like I was finally attending a real Rush concert." “The precision with which they all play while still maintaining a light-hearted approach to their performance is, well, it's exactly what you'd expect from Rush himself.” Mark Reid - Rockfiend They have recordings on all 4 Songs from the Neil tribute albums, including performances with Terry Brown, Hugh Syme and Jacob Moon. Upon hearing their original arrangement of AFTERIMAGE, Alex Lifeson wrote: "Very moving and beautifully done. Many thanks to the band for their kind tribute." They regularly play shows with full albums that also include songs from every Rush era - using signature guitars, basses and the mighty doublnecks! A 3 hour show without support Their first time at The Crescent will feature the full EXIT STAGE LEFT album. www.MovingPicturesUK.com

Had an excellent experience watching these guys at the 02 Birmingham. Their musicianship and technical prowess were second to non. All three band members were enjoying themselves and there was banter going back and forth throughout. The crowd who knew the lyrics to all the songs Enjoyed the craic and everywhere I looked there were goofy grins and nodding heads along with some drum solos being reanacted. Would definitely see them again Superb

Moving Pictures - Rush Tribute - Scotland Biography

Power trio MOVING PICTURES are a Rush tribute at the top of their game. Playing over 50 gigs in 2023 including Lakeside Park in Canada for Neil Peart's family.
Favourites of Planet Rock's Darren Redick - who has been known to join them on stage.
They have recordings on all 4 Songs for Neil tribute albums, including performances with Terry Brown, Hugh Syme and Jacob Moon.

On hearing their original arrangement of AFTERIMAGE, Alex Lifeson wrote "Very moving and beautifully done. Heartfelt thanks to the band for their kind tribute."

Featuring drummer Jamie Dunleavey - this young lady from St Andrews is scarily on point.
It takes a unique set of skills to sing AND play bass AND play keys like Geddy Lee - John Power is incredibly accurate.
Guitarist Steve Brown is a lifelong Rush fan and pro player with way too many guitars and wicked sense of humour - not unlike a certain Mr Lifeson.

"They had only been on stage for mere minutes and already my face was aching from the sustained grin.
These strangers who weren't actually Rush made me feel as though I was finally attending a legitimate Rush concert.
The accuracy with which they all play while still maintaining a lighthearted approach to their performance is, well, it's exactly as you'd expect from Rush themselves."
Mark Reid - Rockfiend

"To emulate 3 of the highest musical calibre artists, with such gusto, was seriously impressive. "

“That was the 3rd best Rush show I’ve ever seen. The first 2 were Rush.”

"My Villa has never been so brilliantly strangled."
