About this concert
The last two years have seen Australian artist William Crighton win an ARIA, support Midnight Oil and The Dead South on tours around the world, play his first Glastonbury and release his third album ‘Water and Dust’.A fusion of traditional music and unexpected experimentation, William's songs explore vivid stories, from tales of Australian history to euphoric conversations with ants.A born and bred Riverina kid (Wiradjuri Country), Crighton's music is soaked in the essence of the country he is from.“… a strikingly singular talent … Crighton burns with ragged intensity … he’s a classic Australian storyteller” ~ Stack Magazine____________________________________________We acknowledge that this event is held on the stolen lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.
