Allen Hudson and the Halfmoons

Allen Hudson and the Halfmoons are an alternative rock band from southeastern Virginia. They’ve spent the last 2 years making the kind of music that played on dorm room stereos in the early 90’s. In that short time, they’ve established themselves as one of Virginia’s best alternative acts; opening for Spin Doctors, Eric Hutchinson, Cracker and supporting Dada this August.

Sonically, the band exists somewhere between The Killers and Crowes; blending straight-to-tape rock and roll, new wave and power pop - all with a hint of southern charm.
