FATHER FIGURES Biography
Father Figures started with three best friends at Wichita North High School. As time went on members drifted apart, and FF became an unstoppable duo. Excel and Merced don't know what it means to 'quit,' and don't plan on adding that word to their vocabulary any time soon. They've each rapped since their sophomore year in high school, and now boast three degrees between the two. They are two highly educated young men, and are assertive in their personas. Excel is the smooth spitting, lyricist that'll make you rewind the song just to re-hear a clever metaphor or two. Merced is the high pitched, EDM loving MC who wants to give you the same life changing experience he's felt at so many festivals. No matter which of these two it is, Excel and Merced put a passion in their music not many have the ability to. Father Figures hopes you all enjoy their music as much as they did creating it. And these two gentlemen love and appreciate any support they get! They are the only pompous nice guys you will ever meet! Hah In the Works: Father Figures - Presidents of Precedence (Mixtape) Excel - Life on a Cloud (Mixtape) Merced the Cool - Not Sorry (Mixtape) Merced and Excel are like 1960s music, with 1980s partying and 2099 technology.
