Shadow Music

Shadow, was raised in the Greater Cincinnati area and introduced into the music industry by his Brother KB, Memphis Matik and Forty. Existing in the space between modern rap, metal and hip-hop, his music somehow ties the traditions together while placing his own unique stamp and personality on it. In the tradition of the greatest artists, he raps his truths straight to your face, with no apologies or hesitation and a commitment to excellence above all, making him an exceptional artist on the rise.

With the debut of his first major album “Hate Me Now” released in November 2010 in Cincinnati OH with features including, Lil Wyte, Project Born, JellyRoll, Partee and a couple more surprise national artists; Shadow was eagerly awaiting to see the reaction from fans and media that are to come. Before the release of the album also came a small tour that includes venues in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

Since then, so much has changed. He took a break from the music to get back in focus. But in 2018 he has made his come back, already taking off with a super start, and super stars, including one of Shadows greatest inspirations "Bootleg" from the Dayton Family, and The other artists his helped him from the start, Project Born, Gangsta Boo, Young Buck, Bubba Sparxxx, Underated, with a whole new team and brand new look at the challenges of this cutthroat Artist life.

Shadow is building up his fan base through playing shows, it’s clear that his ambition is enormous. “I’ve always been a leader so the approach I have in music is to treat people the right way so they’ll respect you and follow you.” His attention to details in his songs on the album releasing the end of May or beginning of June 2019 is meticulous.

Shadow is one of those rare artists who has it all both a songwriter and artist who’s got his whole game down tight. It’s clear that he’s someone who doesn’t think in terms of limits, but one instead who sees everything being possible for his music and his career. He concludes, “I work really hard on my music.
