Since 1998 ’s The Answers, Blue October has been touring the world with a boundless approach, generating north of 1 billion total streams and charting 19 hits. In 2006, Foiled earned a platinum certification and yielded signature anthems Hate Me and Into The Ocean, kicking off a prolific streak. In addition to six consecutive Top 30 album debuts on the Billboard Top 200, they scored three straight #1 entries on the Top Alternative Albums Chart with Any Man In America [2011], Sway [2013], and Home [2016]. Switchfoot has sold over 10 million copies worldwide of their thirteen studio albums (including their 2003 triple-platinum breakthrough The Beautiful Letdown and 2009's GRAMMY® Award-winning Hello Hurricane), racked up a string of Alternative radio hit singles, and performed sold-out tours with over 5 million concert tickets sold in over 40 countries around the world. Through their unique blend of emotionally intelligent and uplifting brand of alternative rock, Switchfoot has earned a devoted and loyal global fan base. Over his almost 30 year career, Matt Nathanson has evolved into one of the most applauded songwriters and engaging performers on the music scene today. His sixth studio album, Some Mad Hope, yielded his breakthrough multi-platinum hit Come on Get Higher. He followed up with Modern Love, a critically acclaimed album that garnered Nathanson two RIAA Gold Certified singles, Faster & Run (featuring Sugarland).

Was able to do the meet and greet with Blue October at this performance and the band was fantastic. I'm physically disabled and was feeling rushed to get out of the way by the next group waiting to meet the band. They stepped in and let me take my time and were very gracious with their time. My wife getting a hug from Justin was just the icing on the cake! Highly suggest you do this if it is available. We met Veers (opening act) at the after-concert merch section; they were incredibly nice and accommodating. They signed their poster for us and took pictures with my wife.

Blue October Biography

Rather than lean on destiny for direction, Blue October invents and inhabits a future all its own. The platinum-certified alternative quartet from San Marcos, TX—Justin Furstenfeld [vocals, guitar, songwriter], Jeremy Furstenfeld [drums], Ryan Delahoussaye [violin, mandolin, piano], Matt Noveskey [bass], and Steve Schiltz [guitar]—consistently evolves with an outlier perspective. For their eleventh studio album and first double-LP, Spinning The Truth Around: Part I & II, Blue October unlocks another creative renaissance.

“We feel like we’re at the height of our craft,” states frontman Justin Furstenfeld. “The album is romantic as fuck. The lyrics are universal and poignant, but we’re showing the songs can stand alone instrumentally. We know the sound we want.”
