Grump

Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Shannon Roy, better known as GRUMP, first became involved in the EDM scene when she was only 15 and started djing in 2010 to pursue her passion for music. She eats, sleeps, and breathes EDM and is inspired by all forms of art. Besides djing, GRUMP plays the guitar, writes song lyrics, and spins fire. GRUMP is known for her innovative music and feeds off of her past experiences to fuel her unique style. Her music is a fusion of different genres of music; she often incorporates metal elements into her songs and is known for her heavy sound. She is grateful for each and every moment she is granted another breath, and she never ceases to show her dedication to her art. GRUMP first started mixing trance and drum n’ bass and has since ventured into producing dubstep, drumstep, house, electro, and trap. She has made essential contributions to the Orlando EDM community; she has worked with many respected artists including M@ and NiM (KGB production), Travis Ian Baker, Dubsapians, and Dexterous Entertainment, and she is currently a member of Alliance street team and EDM Orlando. She spins at various venues in Orlando such as Suite B Lounge and Club Firestone, as well as at myriad restaurants and house parties. Look for her in a club near you! I like my beats dark.
