My god this show was everything I wanted and more! While there was a long delay due to setting up, they really killed it and this will be one of my favorite shows of my life for that. El Corazon was also a great set up for them because of how intimate the venue was, honestly this was a great time.

Weedeater Biography

There are several bands with this name:

1) A 3 piece stoner/sludge/doom metal band from Wilmington, North Carolina, USA, formed in 1998. Features Dave 'Dixie' Collins (ex-Buzzov*en, Bongzilla, Sourvein) on bass/vocals, Shep on guitar and Keko on drums.

Weedeater have released three albums to date, in 2001 they released their debut ...And Justice For Y'all and in 2002 they released the follow-up Sixteen Tons, produced by the legendary Billy Anderson.

The band has now been signed by Southern Lord Records and released their third album God Luck And Good Speed, this time produced by Steve Albini.

2) A stoner metal band formed in the early 90s in Clearlake, Iowa consisting of Doug Jones, Jeff Jones and Mark Huddleston. In 1995 they released a self titled album on Pearl Records out of Kansas City. The record was produced by Marvin Jackson, Montel Jones & Weedeater. Assistant Enginerring done by Marc Wilson.
