ACROSS

Colombian artist Across constructs a sound landscape bringing rock-alternative energy inspired by artists such as The White Stripes, Royal Blood, and Foster The People, making it unique by weaving these sounds with the complex trajectory of his musical experience.

Originally born in Bogotá, coming from Usme, Across has lived in different US cities like Atlanta, where he was part of the SCAD vocal ensemble. Boston, where he played the bass guitar for some years for the local band Take Us Alive, and currently New Jersey.

Playing and singing songs at his early career from artists like Illapu, Los Kjarkas, and other traditional Latinamerican performers, growing with bands that performed music of the likes of Soundgarden, Metallica, Alice In Chains, System Of A Down, and Nirvana have shaped his style and approach to songwriting and composing.

In June 2021 Across presents "Choices EP" as a trip, a journey through emotions and different moments of his life. A collection of 5 songs. Where each one was made by the truth of the feelings that inspired them. "Choices EP" is a record that is not limited by a specific music genre, it has sounds for different moments and moods. It has some rock, some pop, aboriginal sounds, and a thread of electronic music blending all the landscapes together, is a sincere EP, without filters on its lyrics, it talks about what happened to him as an artist and an individual, what happens to you. It talks about that great thread that makes us the same.
