Delirious? Biography

There are at least two bands with the name Delirious?. One plays trance and another is an English Christian rock and worship band formed in 1993 in Littlehampton (UK). The lineup consists of Martin Smith on vocals and guitar, Stuart Garrard (also known as Stu G) on guitar and backing vocals, Jon Thatcher on bass guitar, Tim Jupp on keys and piano, and Paul Evans on drums and percussion (after previous drummer Stew Smith left the band to pursue his design work in May 2008).
Their 1995 song "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" has been called a "modern worship classic"[1] and is their best known song in the United States.

The Band started with the name "Cutting Edge" before the group made the decision to turn professional and change their name to "Delirious?" in 1996. There are at least 3 artists using this name on lastfm, but only one that uses the "?" at the end.

Stu G was the only member not related to the others by blood or marriage before drummer Stew Smith left the band. Martin, Stew, and Tim are each married to one of Jon's three sisters.

The band regularly leads worship at Christian festivals such as Soul Survivor, as well as playing at mainstream concerts like Glastonbury.

At the beginning of July 2008 the band announced that they would be splitting up to concentrate on their own things, Martin wanted to spend more time with his family and to put more work into his charity CompassionArt. They will continue to play together until the end of 2009.
