They were fantastic, as usual. I was lucky enough to see them three times this summer, and they rocked Brooklyn with a high-energy set, just like at the previous shows I attended. Dany's vocals soared, her guitar growled, Ale's bass thundered, and Pau's drums boomed. They can make a lot of sound for a three-piece, and their showmanship and energy make the ticket price seem like a steal. See them before they start playing arenas and are tiny figures on an LCD screen.

The show was okay but short. I don't know if it's the new normal, but the band went on stage at 9:00 and was completely done by 10:10. I know this band played 1 hour and 45 minutes at shows in their home country, so it seems like they are taking it easy for some reason. The crowd energy seemed subdued and there was a lot of grey hair standing around.

The venue at Big Night Live leaves a lot to be desired. If you don't get there early or have some special ticket then good luck finding a good view. The merch booth was a single file line that took any 20 minutes to get through when I got there about 30 minutes before show time. Now on to The Warning... they put on an amazing show. High energy, sound awesome and they are so talented. I'll definitely be seeing them the next time they come around although I'm sure they'll be in a much larger venue. Don't miss them if you like great rock music and an awesome show.

About The Warning

The Warning, which features sisters Daniela “Dany” [guitar, lead vocals, piano], Paulina “Pau” [drums, vocals, piano], and Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal [bass, piano, backing vocals], is a hard-hitting power trio that has built a global fan following with their infectious sound and unflinching lyrics.

In October, the band released their MAYDAY EP via LAVA/Republic Records that included standout singles “CHOKE,” “EVOLVE”, “DISCIPLE”, and “MARTIRIO.” Produced by the legendary David Bendeth (Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, Breaking Benjamin), the project is an electrifying musical rollercoaster that offers an unapologetic look at issues faced by the younger generation today — from ever-present technology, communication problems caused by generation gaps, love, anxiety, and the overwhelming pressure to suppress emotions.

In addition, the band’s cover of “Enter Sandman” was featured on The Metallica Blacklist, the 30-year anniversary reissue of Metallica’s legendary self-titled album.

It’s a continuation of a musical journey the trio kicked off by building a grassroots fanbase through their powerful online presence — quickly amassing over 120 million YouTube views and 15 million streams. They quickly captured the attention and admiration of a lineup of rock legends and were invited to perform with Alice Cooper, The Killers, Def Leppard, and most recently Metallica at the Welcome To Rockville Festival.

As The Warning takes the stage for its first U.S. headline tour, they do so on a wave of media acclaim from Loudwire, Rolling Stone and Rolling Stone Mexico, Billboard Argentina, and many more.
