Shotgun Jefferson Biography
Shotgun Jefferson is a Southern California-based country band that draws musical inspiration from its deep, groove-centric, rock and roll roots. Their high-energy live shows are delivered with polished flair. Self-described "non-country" fans become converts of their California Country Style, lifted by frontman Jeff Zazueta's powerful vocals, Dean Parra’s blazing guitar, Sug Parra’s funky bass lines and flawless 3-part harmony. While Shotgun Jefferson hits the stage with a high level of energy that continues throughout their performance, they are still able to share the same level of excitement and energy needed for an acoustic performance.
As a result of their passion and hard work, Shotgun Jefferson has shared stages with country superstars like Midland, Nelly, Tyler Rich, ColtFord, Lindsay Ell, The Lacs, Brooke Eden, Moonshine Bandits, Jordan Rager, Jessica Lynn, and Pop Acts Missing Persons and Bow Wow Wow, Aaron Watson, Meghan Lindsey, & Confederate Railroad. In 2020, the band was awarded “Country Band for the Year”, by the JMA’s and partnered with the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association). The band has released a full album, and several singles, such as "California Country Folk", "Stomp My Boots", "Have A Few In Havasu”.
