International Pop Prog Band ZIO is the brainchild of former Karnataka Drummer Jimmy Pallagrosi. The band made their live debut at Crescendo Festival in France in 2018, unveiling a line-up that included Olivier Castan (Keys), Marc Fascia (Guitar) and Liz Hayes (Bass) alongside guest vocalists Hayley Griffiths (Karnataka/The Hayley Griffiths Band) and former Enid vocalist Joe Payne. Together they released the band?s debut award-winning album Flower Torania, a concept album inspired by video games, fantasy and 80?s sci-fi films. Flower Torania won a host of incredible reviews and was Notes Reviews No.1 Album of 2020. The bands energetic and powerful 2024 Tour will see them perform not only Flower Torania but also their brand new album TRUEWAVES. THE BEE TELLERS is a new musical project created by long-time collaborators Heather Findlay (ex Mostly Autumn) and Simon Snaize. They craft music that seamlessly fuses the lilting harmony-laden folk and Americana of artists such as Buckingham Nicks, The Civil Wars, Welch & Rawlings and Plant & Krauss, with the harder-edged rock and soulful blues reminiscent of 70?s Led Zeppelin and Heart. It's a place where Rock and Roll, Blues, Folk, Americana and Pop intertwine to create songs that honour the history of the music that inspired them. The Bee Tellers make music that speaks to their experiences. They create music intended to bring love, light, and upliftment to the hearts of others. The Bedford is a delightful live venue/pub/restaurant/hotel in Balham, just a few minutes' walk from the Northern Line tube station. The separate live music room is usually set up with tables and chairs 'cabaret style', with standing at the back and sides, plus further seating in the balcony area.
