Ron Artis II

Award-winning songwriter Ron Artis II and Matt Jaffe will perform to benefit Livermore charity Sight & Sound, plus raffle and silent auction 21+ Doors at 6 pm. Matt Jaffe (trio) starts at 6:30 pm. Ron Artis II (solo) starts at 7:20 pm. Hailing from Hawaii, award-winning artist Ron Artis II brings a unique soulful-honest-songwriting style to the stage. His all-original music is “packed with resonant messages of kindness, love, and peace, weaving together elements of funk-rock, electric blues, R&B, and contemplative folk” (SPIN). Each song is laced with intention, deep conviction, story, and a heart that has truly been there. Ron has performed and collaborated with Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac), Jack Johnson, Jake Shimabukuro, Booker T Jones, Eric Krasno (Soulive, Lettuce) and G Love among others, and recently headlined The Bankhead theatre in Livermore. Ron Artis II (solo) will be playing in support of Sight & Sound. Sight & Sound (501c3) is based in Livermore and provides free vision care to musical artists without access to optical health care. Bay Area indie rock favorite Matt Jaffe (trio) will open up. Also featured will be a silent auction and a raffle in support of Sight & Sound as it celebrates 10 years of serving thousands of artists across the country.
