We'll kick off the day with a Bloody Mary Bar opening at 12pm. We'll have Derby coverage on the tv screens all day long, but the race typically takes place around 5:45pm. Come watch on the big screen! Held annually on the first Saturday in May, the race is the first leg of the Triple Crown. The Derby is known as "The Run for the Roses", as the winning horse is draped in a blanket of roses. Lasting approximately two minutes, the race has also been called "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports" or "The Fastest Two Minutes in Sports" FREE ENTRY! 101 CO RD 409, Spicewood, TX 78669 - We will also have multiple food trucks onsite.

The Pearl Snaps Biography

Keeping the dance hall tradition alive with classic country music, The Pearl Snaps keep fans two-stepping on saw-dust dance floors all over Central Texas. This real honky-tonk band, musically inspired by greats like Hank, Patsy, Loretta, Merle, Waylon, Willie and more, thrills music lovers with old favorites that will never be forgotten. The six-piece band also features original music, capturing the beloved American genre that is foundational to today's country music. Saloon-style piano, smooth sliding tones of pedal steel, melodic lead guitar and a driving dance beat makes it impossible for audiences to stay in their seats.

A night with The Pearl Snaps is a journey through time narrated by the most beloved country artists from the 1930s all the way through today. The band’s lead female singer, Lisa Rainbolt (on piano, guitar and tambourine), yodels out Patsy Montana’s “Cowboy Sweetheart,” gives a sultry rendition of Elvis’ “Heartbreak Hotel,” and gets the crowd jumping with Devil Doll’s “Liquor Store.”

When they’re not singing backups, John Christian (on lead guitar), Bill Aydam (on guitar and harmonica) are belting out the best by Willie, Waylon, Merle and Johnny. With five singers, audiences are sure to hear their country favorites. All seven musicians have been dedicated to music throughout their entire lives.
