FESTIVAL GUITARE EN SCENE 2024Dimanche 21 juillet 2024 : NILE RODGERS & CHIC MARCUS MILLER DAVE STEWART EURYTHMICS TOBY LEEGuitare en Scène, le plus grand des petits festivals !Festival d’envergure internationale créé en 2007, Guitare en Scène est devenu au fil des ans l’événement incontournable des passionnés de musique et de guitare en Haute-Savoie, aux portes de Genève, avec comme ADN la guitare et une très grande proximité du public avec les artistes, la jauge étant volontairement restreinte à 5000 places. Venir à Guitare en Scène, c’est s’assurer une expérience musicale unique, intense où la qualité sonore et la convivialité sont à l’honneur dans ce projet à taille humaine. Les plus grands artistes de la scène française et internationale, confirmés et émergeants, ont déjà foulé la scène avec un talent et une générosité hors normes, assurant des moments inédits. Chaque soirée a sa couleur musicale et son lot de surprises, puisque la culture de l’esprit « jam » a permis à de nombreux artistes de se rencontrer, offrant des moments d’improvisations scéniques uniques, une exception dans le monde du rock ! Pour sa 17e édition, le Festival Guitare en Scène aura lieu du 18 au 21 juillet 2024 à Saint-Julien-en-Genevois (74). Les premières têtes d’affiche annoncées sont John Fogerty et Status Quo le 18 juillet, Chris Isaak et Larkin Poe le 19 juillet, Francis Cabrel et Rodrigo y Gabriela le 20 juillet, ainsi que Marcus Miller le 21 juillet. Quatre soirées aux univers musicaux éclectiques, du hard rock au blues, en passant par le funk et la folk, qui se dessinent avec comme ligne directrice : la guitare et la basse. Nile Rodgers & Chic Biography
Among music legends, Nile Rodgers is truly exceptional. He amplifies his legacy as a multiple GRAMMY-winning composer, producer, arranger and guitarist by constantly traversing new musical terrain and successfully expanding the boundaries of popular music. As the co-founder of CHIC and the Chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Rodgers pioneered a musical language that generated chart-topping hits like "Le Freak," (the biggest selling single in the history of Atlantic Records) and sparked the advent of hip-hop with "Good Times". Nile transcends all styles of music across every generation with a body of work that's garnered him inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
