An incredible show -- the trio performance was thrilling to experience. Could not have enjoyed it more, exceeded my high expectations.

Nice venue. Show was great! First set was a lot for the audience to consume, very structured and challenging. Second set was juicy with a joyful interaction among amazing artists. It was a show to be remembered!

This was my first time seeing Bill Frisell. He is a wonderfully inventive guitarist, with incredible feel. He and his band flowed seemlessly from one emotion to another, with music that confounded any labeling or genre. He was engaging, and along with his band, was obviously enjoying himself. I would love to see him again.

Very happy to learn that the Somerville Armory is a great place to see music. The concert was stupendous, great players, Frisell is a legend. The sound in the venue was excellent, and didn't seem like there was a bad seat in the house.

This was a great concert. The talent level of Frisell and his bandmates is amazing. And they clearly enjoy each other and what they're doing - which makes it all the more fun.

It was a very entertaining., enjoyable evening. The boys were at rheir best last night and were really having fun. The first half hour was a bit long in my opinion, restricting the posibility for more variety in the show. We are so glad we had the opportunity to attend. Thank you.

Incredible, beautiful, gently challenging. Drummer Rudy Royston blew me away with gently interspersed figures coaxing the rhythm along while leaving so much space available for the rest of the band. Honestly, these musicians listen to each other like few other combos I’ve heard. Thank you all!

It was beautiful. The program was a recognition of their good friend Ron Miles. They played Ron's compositions exclusively with due respect. The venue was excellent and designed perfectly for the music to be played. It was enlightening to listen to a number of Ron's compositions played by his long-time friends. Ron Miles - RIP.

It was one of the most original and intense live performances I’ve ever attended.

Bill always puts on an enjoyable show....the Groten Hill venue is beautiful; can't wait for the other half to open.

I felt like I was watching a legend. His playing seems to perfectly reflect his personality.

I had not heard of Bill Frisell until I saw an article on him and the 4 nights of concerts in the Weekend section of the East Bay Times on September 8 but he sounded interesting. I listened to some of his music on YouTube. I asked my son if he knew Bill Frisell, and he did and had a CD of his music. Tickets were sold out for Saturday, when my son could have joined us, but my wife and I got tickets for Sunday night. We were mesmerized by the concert. Bill Frisell's way of playing seems unique, beautiful and almost ethereal. His trio is so tight and interacts so sensitively. The Harmony singers and players added something else to the concert. Petra Hayden has a fantastic voice and the harmony from the men who sang with her and played a second guitar and cello, especially the latter, added another dimension to the music. All in all, it was a wonderful concert.

Bill and Thomas Morgan and Rudy Royston played a wonderful selection wonderfully! The Fort Collins Armory is state of the art with well worked out acoustics. Their music was inspiring!

Superb performance from a truly amazing musician and a great trio. Short but sweet.

He is always a delight to see. Such a delicate, innovative guitar player. Was happy to have the opportunity to see him again live!

Good music, but the mix was off. Pedal steel and guitar too loud and dominated the violin. Too bad, because Jenny S. On violin rocks.
