Kate Birch

Laura Schuler aka Kate Birch plays the violin since many years and made a name for herself in the international jazz - and creative music scene. Trough the alter ego Kate Birch she develops her language further in the direction of Artpop and Indietronica. During a longer stay in New York the project got its spirit and initial push. In the city she started the process of songwriting and studio production. She still returns to New York on a regular base to play and to fill up her mind and heart with experiences of the metropole live, which flow back into her music.
After numerous solo shows, Kate Birch got company by drummer and multi instrumentalist Clemens Kuratle. The musician from Cologne contributes his talent and knowledge to the music. Together they sound bigger as a duo.
