Deep'art Biography
'Are you ready to 'Depart' with us on a musical journey through house, disco and techno'. Glen Revell and Chris Ware, collectively known as Depart, are a British duo making waves on the electronic dance music scene. Having previously supported acts such as Eric Volta, Shaun Reeves, wAFF, My Favorite Robot, Alexis Raphael, Danny Daze, Miguel Campbell, Richy Ahmed, Russ Yallop and WiLDKATS, the boys are now cementing a name for themselves through their fine-tuned house and techno sound. This includes their own promotion creation, Depart Showcase - a series of successful parties thrown in their hometown of London, which sees them bring the hottest in underground names, some of which are listed above, to impressed crowds of the UK’s capital. 2013 sees the Showcase building upon its previous successes - which the Depart boys have worked hard to establish. As well as working hard as DJ’s and promoters, Depart have also turned their hand to production. 2012 saw a number of releases drop on established labels. This included hot British label Electronique, who featured the ‘Word’ on their Ibiza Summer Sampler, and Resonance Record who released 'Money' on Resonance Records Vol.2 Mexican label Cream Couture Records also snapped up another Depart bomb - this time a remix of the Jon Celius track, ‘Down’. The boys darkened the track and most certainly made it their own. The remix had great chart success reaching no.30 in the Indie/Nu Disco top 100. Fast forward to 2013 and Depart have managed to secure an EP on Barcelona's Digital Delight which is due to be released in October. The EP features two originals and remixes from Sishi Rosch and Balcazar & Sordo. Depart have also got some very interesting collaborations and remixes, as well as more original work lined up which should be released late 2013/early 2014. Formerly known as Deep'art.
