We had a great evening watching Paul Weller and Liam Bailey. We loved the sound of Liam and his band. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious. Paul Weller is always amazing live. His new songs stood up well and it was great to hear alot of Stanley Road played on the night. I would recommend anyone who has any interest to get a ticket. His band are fantastic and hearing Into Tomorrow extended was definitely a highlight. Worth every penny.

An amazing show in all ways! Entirely worth the years of waiting and cross-continent journey I made to be at the show. Paul looks and sounds fantastic, he played a wide range of career tunes, and his band is simply top-notch...a 150% thoroughly enjoyable experience. Now if we could just get him to play in the States again sometime soon...

Great gig, Paul Weller never disappoints. A fantastic singer and musician. Venue really crowded, but that was to be expected at this popluar, sell-out concert. Would definitely go again if I'm lucky enough to get tickets in the future. I was super lucky this time as it was sold out in minutes. Venue is local to me so I knew what to expect. Beers a little pricey but I do like the venue. Staff are efficient, polite and friendly.

Wow! Paul Weller is the gift that keeps on giving!! This show was amazing with 20+ songs from across all the years. Old favourites as well as new tracks from his upcoming album, 66. The acoustics at Waterside were incredible for the audience, I hope Paul enjoyed the show too and will return in the future :)

Paul on great form with a setlist of old and new - Quote my Wife. " That's the best Paul Weller I've seen"
2 hours of cracking music , with Paul at his most engaging, even offering a "sorry!" when he missed the into to one song on the piano! Wish I could see it all again.
Support Act Barbara were well received also, with a crop of songs that were easily digested on first listen and an entertaining stage presence.

Really excellent Gig and a thoroughly enjoyable evening at a very good venue.
Have seen PW many times in many guises over many years, and this was excellent in terms of the set and the performance - he was on top form and played some of my lesser known favourites. The PW Band also first class throughout. Also a shout out to the support, Barbara, who were jaw-droppingly good and I'll be following them up.

Best I’ve seen! Came all the way down from Liverpool on the Thursday and stayed over for two nights. He was that good I had to see him twice lol; I got my ticket 🎫 to see him in Manchester Friday 1st November, absolutely brilliant what a man! Fantastic musician 🙌🏻 one of the very best around 👌🏻 the band is brilliant as well 👏🏻 cracking city Bristol by the way & the venue was great too, would definitely come back down again to the city

Superb. Even after extraction and a root canal and 3.5hr trip up. Met guy who bought our spare wife ticket and folk in front who worked where I did 4hr south. Gig was great. O my sad part was getting my original singles signed for a good friend and fan we lost to give to his family (son). Only five us hold back - two usual disabled people seem before and band whisked away. Would been the cherry as was doing this for others but did not spoil a great gig. Ticked off my friend and my list now. The who. From the jam. And now Weller. Live the venue anyway as don lives up there and the gig was brilliant.

Treated my husband to tickets he is the fan. We both thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Song after song kept coming.
Just don’t agree with the politics. I understand it helps to have a voice and audience, but nights out for us are rare because of the expense and we just want to enjoy a good night out to forget the world issues!

Everything we knew it was gonna be from The Modfather a true legend the only question was which songs were gonna be left out. He’s looking amazing for 65/66 vocally he is as good as you will ever hear.Thank you Paul and his band for being the best still live performance you can see and we are joining you in Liverpool again this year……

Brilliant concert!! A great setlist including all aspects of his work from The Jam, The Style Council and his long solo career. The sound and his backing band were tight and brilliant. He just seems to be getting even better with age, which to hard to believe. Not to be missed.

From start to finish, the whole evening was fantastic.
The stewards were very friendly and helpful.
The music was crisp and clear.
Roll on next time.
The only downside to concerts these days is is the time that the concert has to end by.
10 to 10.30pm is far too early. Paul Weller could have sung for at least another hour.
Shame.

Wonderful gig. In a fantastic venue.
With a career stretching back as far as his, and with such different musical styles, it could be difficult for Paul Weller to give everyone what they want to hear, but he seems to manage effortlessly.
The vibe for this tour is leaning towards soul/funk/jazz rather than rock, and the band played several Style Council songs, but there were plenty of the classic heavier tunes on offer. Highlights for me were the extended jazzy workout on Into Tomorrow,, hypnotic groove of In Sunset and sharp psychedelic nostalgia of Start. The band were fantastic as always and Jacko Peake really elevated the whole sound.
It was so good I went back the following night, which was even better!

The Man’s music is timeless, be it The Jam, Style Council or Paul and his band… it was just great to hear him sound and sing live. No one can bring so many people together from the old MOD ways to the younger generations. Made me fall back in love with music!!

What a great night. Not been to Kentish Town Forum before and really enjoyed it. Last one I saw Weller was at the main o2 and it was terrific, but I enjoyed the smaller venue more. Weller and the band were great. Looking forward to seeing PIL there in June.

If you ever needed a night to lift your soul, bring out your inner child and make you dance the night away, this was THE night.
Of all the gigs and festivals I’ve ever been to, this one beat the bloody lot of them.
Paul Weller and Steve Cradock are legends on guitars and the intensity of their music sent shivers down my spine.
Every note of music, every beat of the drum, took me on a very much needed musical journey.
I was certainly Above The Clouds and so was the rest of the crowd.
Weller as always pulls on my heartstrings and I know, I’m not the only woman that walked out of their falling in love with him all over again.
You should have heard the conversations on the way out!
Paul is still the smartest dresser, I mean anything would suit that guy, but the mod look is always there.
His energy levels were high and his enthusiasm hit the roof, as always.
Let's not forget the rest of the band.
One word… fanbloodytastic.
I was in awe of the camaraderie, the talent and their ability to stop the crowd from taking their eyes away from the stage for a second.
That's Entertainment!
Not only we were gifted with songs from Weller’s solo career but music from the #thestylecouncil and #thejam.
Now that, my friends was a night never to be forgotten and a night I will keep very close to my heart.

Paul Weller never disappoints!
A set full of 28 top tunes from across the back catalogue spanning The Jam: Sound Affects (Start / That's Entertainment), through the Style Council years (Headstart For Happiness / Have You Ever Had It Blue / It's A Very Deep Sea / Shout To The Top), all the way to Fat Pop.

A top weekend in Brighton as always at a stand-out venue.
Brighton, United Kingdom@The Brighton Centre
Had a long awaited postponed birthday celebration. Show was great although Paul Weller didn’t interact with crowd much at all, but that may be he just wants to get on playing his music. Loved his new songs. Only disappointment was the Brighton Centre bar only served larger or cider, yuk! The most irritating thing was people holding up their mobiles to film, every five minutes. Enjoy the moment people!

Nice venue, great setlist, PW seemed really up for it. Unfournately the crowd was pretty
lame. Everyone being seated didn't help either. Standing a bit behind the mixing desk the sound was way too low as well. You could here everybody talking. After going acoustic lately, there was not one song from the latest album but instead a return to a lot of the Modern Classics of the 90s and some Jam highlights and even a guest appearance by Mick Talbot for a short Style Council revival. Also Weller's daughter Leah featured on You Do Something To Me. Would be great to be front row. The half star is for the audience. PW never lets you down.

All in all a good show, listened to the latest album beforehand and wasn't overwhelmed, but being a Wellar fan of old didn't let it put me off as had seen him in this event several years ago. The album sounded much better live and i think it will grow on me. However....the classics made an appearance and made my nignt, along with my 18yr old sons! See you next time!
