Kourt Jester Biography

Kourt Jester has been rapping since the age of 10. Performing around his hometown of Jamestown, NY started in 2008. The very first show he did was at The Labyrinth Cafe in Jamestown, and became a regular performing at Timothy's Cafe (Now closed). He also released a parody of Gucci Mane's "Freaky Gurl", which gained a significant buzz, even getting played at his high school's homecoming dance. He moved from Jamestown to Buffalo to start college in 2009. KJ started performing in Buffalo in 2011. His first show in Buffalo was at The Guerilla Gallery (Now Allentown Music Too). He linked up with local promotions company Incite-A-Riot, who would give him many shows after that. From Incite-A-Riot he linked up with Greg Burt who would go on to start his own promotion company For The Music Productions. Once he started doing shows with FTMP, he got his first "big break" opening for Twenty One Pilots in 2011. Since then Kourt Jester has worked on making a name for himself in Buffalo and the surrounding areas. He has opened for established local artists including Big Tim, DeeZ, Bigg Rich, plus many more. He also performs and collaborates often with Nemesis Poe and is an affiliate of Poe's label Pleasantly Offensive Productions. Their collaboration "Eyez Low Remix" off of KJ's "Bull In A China Shop EP" has gotten a large amount of buzz throughout New York and around the world including Great Britain. Raptor of Don't Flop Entertainment will be making an appearance on the extended remix of "Eyez Low" in the near future as well. "Bull In A China Shop EP" was released in 2015 and also features appearances from Big Tim and Twisted Insane. Besides Twenty One Pilots, Kourt Jester has also shared the stage with the following national acts: Three 6 Mafia (Da Mafia 6ix), Tech N9ne, Chris Webby, Twisted Insane, Whitney Peyton, MURS, Krizz Kaliko, among others. His new release will be titled "Introspection" and the lead single is "Back From The Dead", which a video will be released for in 2016. Keep it classic kid.
