Zoe Kypri Biography
East London born and bred; R&B, jazz and soul singer Zoe Kypri has been telling tales of self-love, life and loss through her rich, sultry tones since she was a teenager. Her enticing songwriting can be found on the delicate ballads ‘Alone Tonight’ and ‘Pleasure’s Mine’, that have already had support across BBC Radio London, NTS, MiSoul and Soho Radio - the successors to her self-released ‘Tides EP’ that includes the fan-favourite ‘Someday’ ft Slumba Bear.
Alongside some of her biggest inspirations like Sade, Mary J. Blige, Heatwave, Maze and Erykah Badu; Zoe’s love for breakbeats and basslines has led to her powerhouse vocals being recognised by dance music’s biggest acts, including the Brit award-winning Rudimental and pop-stardom drum & bass duo Sigma. Since 2014 she has been singing front on their global tours, commanding crowds of thousands at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, London Roundhouse, Glastonbury, and Reading festival.
Zoe’s contribution to house and drum & bass includes the BBC Radio 1 playlisted ‘Real’ with Crissy Criss, Jack Wins’ ‘Hold Your Breath’ and Bajau’s ‘Flip The Coin’ amongst many more, releasing across some of dance music’s most respected labels such as Axtone Records, UMG, NCS, Toolroom, and Hospital Records.
