Island Moons

American singer-songwriter Brandon S. Harwood, professionally known as artist Island Moons (NYC-based), has two decades of live performance and songwriting experience under various forms. However, new inspiration struck in the midst of the COVID-19 silence, with no contact except for the life of an expectant baby.
A surge of creativity ensued and he began to sing and pen his thoughts with a newfound voice.

Taking his songs into the studio in upstate NY, he discovered his artistic name and identity after finding an unpublished manuscript of William Blake. He emerged with a full LP that will be released in spring 2024 and combines alternative, indie, and folk-rock elements.

His versatility in songwriting and arrangements takes listeners on a journey, residing somewhere in the musical space between Radiohead, Bowie, and Cat Stevens. He enjoys playing live solo or with his band, The Audio.
He released 4 singles in 2023 and will continue to play shows to promote the upcoming LP release.
