Fink fait son retour remarqué en 2024 et attendu sur scène en 2024, avec 4 dates à l’automne en France : le 18 septembre à Montpellier (Rockstore), le 19 septembre à Marseille (Espace Julien), le 22 octobre à Paris (Trabendo) et le 23 octobre à Tourcoing (Le Grand Mix).Fin Greenall aka Fink a commencé en tant que DJ/Producteur avant de s’armer d’une guitare et se dédier à la musique folk/blues/indie. Artiste renommé et prolifique, la discographie de Fink est une succession de productions renouvelées à succès, que ce soit par « Fresh Produce » (2000), « Biscuits for Breakfast » (2006), « Distance and Time » (2007), « Perfect Darkness » (2011), « Hard Believer » (2014) ou encore le album rétrospectif, et dernier en date, « « IIUII (It Is Not Until It Is) » (2021). Il s’allie également à des musiciens de renom dont Amy Winehouse pour qui il a écrit et enregistré ses premières démos et chansons, un fait révélé sur son disque posthume Lioness. Avec « Sort of Revolution » (2009), il a présenté une collaboration avec John Legend sur « Maker », après qu’il ait co-écrit 2 titres sur l’album « Evolver de Legend », ce qui lui a valu 3 prestigieux prix BMI. L’album studio « Hard Believer », sorti en 2014, sous Ninja Tune/R’COUP D, incluait le succès « Looking Too Closely » qui compte plus de 30 synchronisations pour la télévision et le cinéma, et plus de 45 millions de streams sur Spotify. 2017 marque le début de sa collaboration avec Flood (Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Warpaint, U2) en tant que producteur et mentor.Après avoir dévoilé un album et un livre acoustique rétrospectif de 2021, « IIUII (It Is Not Until It Is) », un document des dix premières années de Fink de 2006 à 2016, Fink reste proactif et s’affiche en tant que producteur de la bande son du jeu Prince of Persia : The Lost Crown et dévoile « The Lowswing Session » : « Tout analogique, pas d’ordinateur, directement sur bande, tout EN DIRECT… C’est la beauté d’une séance. ».

There are two artists/bands called Fink. One is a acoustic/electronic act from the United Kingdom (often written Fink (UK)), signed to Ninja Tune, and one is an alternative country act from Germany.
Biographies:
a) Fink, AKA Fin Greenall, is a singer-songwriter, producer and DJ from Brighton, England. It is also the name given to the touring trio fronted by Greenall himself, completed by Guy Whittaker (bass) and Tim Thornton (drums). This is his official website
Fink's recording career began with Ninja Tune's release of his debut album Fresh Produce in 2001, a well received chill-out set that fitted neatly with the output of the label. However, it was his second release, 2006's Biscuits For Breakfast, that defined his style and began to bring his name to a wider audience.
Built around his bluesy voice, finger-picking acoustic guitar and the stripped-back live rhythm section, Biscuits boasted a fledgling pop sensibility while retaining the signature Ninja Tune vibe - a fact not lost on a swelling crowd of industry luminaries, notably Zero 7, who promptly invited Fink to support them on their UK tour, and Nitin Sawhney, with whom Fink guested at the 2006 Electric Proms.A follow-up is currently being recorded for early 2007 release.

b) Fink were a German indie-country band from hamburg, led by Nils Koppruch and Andreas Voss (also in band Halma). The band was founded in 1995 and released seven studio albums between 1997 and 2005. The group eventually split prior to the release of Koppruch's first solo album in March 2007.
