MAUVEY Biography

Born in Ghana, and raised between the UK and Canada, artist and songwriter, MAUVEY, defies categorization with his unique blend of influences spanning Afro, pop, hip-hop, cinematic, rock, punk, alternative, and electronic genres. Drawing inspiration from iconic figures like Michael Jackson, Prince, Kanye West, Coldplay, Burna Boy, FKA TWIGS, and Labrinth, MAUVEY's sound is unmistakably his own, transcending traditional boundaries.

Born out of an obsession with storytelling, songwriting, cinema, and fashion, MAUVEY's music reflects a spectrum of emotions — anger, frustration, happiness, gratitude, and love— all intertwined with a fervent desire for the world to change. His artistry aims to distribute love, recognizing the world's struggles and the need for healing.

In MAUVEY's world, love is the antidote to a broken hearted world. A simple yet powerful notion that has the potential to mend both the world and each other.

Through his music, MAUVEY seeks to spread the mission of love.
