Optimus Funk

As a veteran of London’s street dance scene, Optimus Funk is an all-around party rocker on either side of the decks. He carries an unmistakable groove throughout his repertoire, with a focus on boogie, disco, soulful house, and funk-- with particular attention to modern funk; showcasing a well honed knowledge of classic jams and underground gems, so expect to be both educated and uplifted!

Starting as regular at Soho’s Madame JoJo’s, he has been steadily working his way around the UK scene, appearing at Aespia (formerly LOST), Reading, and Boardmasters festivals alongside the likes of Bill Brewster, Crazy P, and The London Disco Society.
He's no slouch when it comes to hosting parties either-- counting Phil Asher, Ziggy Funk, DJ Matman, Eddy Funkster, and Saucy Lady among his notable collaborations.

He currently holds a weekly residency at Boxpark Croydon, and is a regular selector at Soho's chic speakeasy, Jack Solomons Club. You can also catch his show Boogie and the Beat every Saturday on Sonic Stream Radio.
