KITUMA

KITUMA is a four-piece Finnish-language melodic death metal band from Oulu that rattles the border fences. Although the band's music leans on metal, unashamed pop hooks can also be heard in the melodies, making the material sound fresh. KITUMA originally launched as a solo project and expanded into a real band in January 2023. The first publication made as a four-piece EP 2023 saw the light of day in June 2023 and received a positive reception among critics and listeners. The debut album SIN NOMINE is out now! The album has gained a lot of positive feedback for example Tuonela Magazine calling the album "a powerhouse that is further reinforcing how the Finnish metal scene consistently delivers outstanding music", while desibeli.net stated that Sin Nomine is a strong album and it's easy to build a brilliant future on top of it giving the album four stars out of five.
