Arrivals

Arrivals are a Brisbane based post-hardcore band, formed in 2013 by the remaining members of Brisbane band "Sunsets". With 2013 drawing to a close, the three remaining members of the band felt it appropriate to start a fresh in a new chapter of the band's life. Arrivals began 2014 touring the East Coast of Australia and recording their debut full length album "Borrowed Time", which received an overwhelming reception upon its release in later that year. After a successful release show in Brisbane, and several close to sold out shows in both Queensland and New South Wales, the band released two further singles taken from the album, "Seekers" and "Loyalties", with accompanying videos. In March 2015 Arrivals returned to the studio with producer Andy Francis (Stone Hearts) and engineer Matthew Amelung (Story Of The Year, Scouts Honour) to begin recording for their new EP titled "Memories". "Memories" was released on the 13th of November. With a full length album under their belts, and a brand new EP fresh off the press, the band was solidifying a name for themselves in the Brisbane local music scene. They have since gained a dedicated fan base, and landed support slots for international bands Funeral For A Friend, The Story So Far, Man Overboard, Turnover, and Basement. Arrivals have an energetic live performance and a wide repertoire of songs demonstrating the musical progression through their time performing together. Their live show demonstrates a variety of styles, ranging from fast punk style guitar rhythms and catchy vocal melodies, to heavier halftime sections. The band draws their various influences from bands such as: Silverstein, The Story So Far, A Day To Remember, Senses Fail, and In Her Own Words. They say actions speak louder than words, and Arrivals are ready to back that up.
