Dubcraft Biography
Based out of Northern California, Dubcraft does reggae their own way – delivering a unique blend of both vintage and modern sounds that are specifically crafted to catch the listener’s ear. Since 2004, founding members Justin Coletti (Vocals/Guitar) & Gerhard Heilmann (Bass) have shared a love for Jamaican-influenced music, playing and performing together under various groups and sharing stages with some of the most prominent reggae artists such as The Abyssinians, Pato Banton, Don Carlos, Lutan Fyah, and more .
In 2018, they joined forces with Chad Edwards (Percussion/Vocals) to begin the Dubcraft journey, and have since brought on Zack Dale (Drums), Gabriel Winter (Keys), and Derek Springer (Percussion) to complete the sound.
Influenced heavily by Jamaican and European-based “Rub-a-dub” music, getting the crowd engaged, dancing, and singing along is their primary goal. Incorporating complex live-looping, hypnotizing dubs, and catchy melodies, Dubcraft puts on explosive live performances that always leave the crowd wanting more. Currently performing as a 6-piece band, they are guaranteed to deliver a high-energy, heavy hitting performance every time they hit the stage.
