Visual 9

Visual 9 was born in Cleveland, Ohio where he spent his early days until moving to Kent, Ohio around the age of 11 years old. Music was always the focus of his life, from growing up in a house constantly playing hip-hop & soul music to free styling at lunch tables. He began seriously making music in high school, displaying from the start his deft control of rhyme schemes & flows. Always highly motivated to turn music into a career, he quickly began making connections throughout Northeast Ohio and began doing shows before he even had a project released.


After spending a few years releasing singles on Soundcloud that gathered a significant amount of plays, he self-released his debut album The Element in 2018. The project was well-received and he started to catch eyes and ears. He began doing a large number of shows, Performing with national names such as AK,Mark Battles,Mir Fontane, Michael Christmas,Chevy Woods, $uicideboy$,Curren$y, Pouya, The Smokers Club, and some of which he organized himself. He has since released two EPs, Sunday Morning & Remedy, with a sophomore album on the way this year.


Visual 9 is continuing to build momentum and is definitely an artist to watch.
