I guess there’s something about the many infinite possibilities and combinations on each and every detail of a track, and how they can affect people’s feelings and create moments…that moves and fascinates me, for sure. It’s something equal to a purpose, or a meaning of life, if you like to put it that way.” Awka’s enlightening discovery was nothing but a first glance about what would come to change his life forever. On his current solo career Awka has been part of the crew that delivered the greatest electronic music carnival party ever seen in Rio - The “Bloco Ame”, also being a flashy name in Warung Closing Summer 2019, meeting Edu Schwartz, who would soon become his actual partner in starting his new label: Words Not Enough. Awka’s purpose is fulfilled through his tracks and productions, his ways of connection are being reproduced by exponential labels such as All Day I Dream, The Soundgarden, Something Special, Akbal Music, Lump Records, Pipe & Pochet, Seven Villas e Warung Recordings. Not to mention his 2 re-interpretations on the english band “Elder Island” tracks, which together sum almost 1M plays on Spotify. We are glad to welcome him again in our jungle rooftop! Joining on the line up one of our resident Dj that surely already made you dance. Born in the late 80s in Lisbon, Sandro Silva has always been linked to the arts. From a young age he became interested in electronic music, being a regular at the main clubs in the country and in Ibiza. 2021 brings him his first international adventure when he is invited to play at the Opium Club. Influenced by multiple musical genres, from house to jazz, the experiences and environments of recent years have led him to dedicate himself to different variants of techno: organic, melodic, progressive and deep house. Intense, deep and energetic, it aims to create new emotions and connect its audience with transcendent experiences. This event is going to be a night to remember, so don't miss out!
