A spinoff of the annual UTOPiAfest, Eclipse UTOPiA offers the best seat in the house to the “Great Texas Twoclipse,” where the paths of last year’s annular eclipse and this year’s astronomical event will cross. Focusing on Texas-centric talent, the 46-artist lineup is headlined by soul-pop force Sir Woman, funk-driven electro-rock duo Ghostland Observatory, and Latin neo-soul searchers Caramelo Haze. Laney Jones Biography
I subscribe to the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi. The art of breaking and being glued back together again with gold. As a songwriter and as a person, that’s what I’m interested in, a broken beautiful life. I’ve been riding the flow state wave of songwriting for just over a decade now, studying everything from clawhammer banjo in my native state of Florida with Steve Martin Banjo Award Winner Mark Johnson to hit-songwriting with Kara DioGuardi at Berklee College of Music in Boston. I currently reside in Nashville, TN. When I'm not making noise in the studio with my drummer/partner Brian and my dog Hap, I’m out on the road. Breathing in and out, trying to keep shining this little light of mine. Shine on y'all.
